Bloomington Fastpitch Tournament

THANK YOU!

BFA and Players Only Families:

Thank you to all the BFA and Players Only parents who volunteered their time, energy and talent for the 10th annual Bloomington Fastpitch Tournament. Details and comments will begin filtering back this week, but by all preliminary accounts, this tournament was, again, a big success. As everyone knows, an event such as this is not possible without a concerted, dedicated volunteer effort. Teamwork is a lesson we all hope our daughters learn as result of their participation in organized sports and there isn’t a better reinforcement of that lesson than seeing parents demonstrating it firsthand. Again, thanks for helping this weekend and for all you do to foster and promote girls fastpitch softball in Bloomington.

As one last assignment, if you would, please take a few minutes and give us your feedback, suggestions and observations from the tournament so we can continue to build and improve - I really like one I already received regarding having BFA ponchos ready for sale at next year’s event – just in case…

 Thanks again!

2009 TOURNAMENT RESULTS

2010 Coaches Comments

"I always love brining teams to this tournament since it is such a great facility and a well run tournament.  The umpires were great and grounds, services and field prep were excellent."

"Wanted to thank you for running the Bloomington Tournament this past weekend.  My team had a good experience and appreciated the effort from you and your group of volunteers.  Dealing with the weather and large number of teams was not an easy task."

"Thank you on behalf of Eagan Fastpitch for hosting a high quality tournament this past weekend.  You have continually upgraded your facilities, and that does not go unnoticed.  You put a LOT of hard hours working through out the rain-saturated grounds.  We always have a good time with the good competition.  Thanks for putting on this event for the girls, their fans, and the coaches."

"Great Tournament!"

"Nice tournament.  The girls liked the bag tags and the free cuts at the batting cage.  I thought your crews did a fantastic job keeping the fields nice, especially Saturday during the rain.  You guys did a great job and we are disappointed we didn't discover this tournament a couple years ago."

"I think over all the tourney was awesome despite the rain.  The girls and coaches loved playing 5 games, getting bag tags and of course CULVERS!  Hitting cages was an added bonus!  Thanks!"

"Great tournament and we hope to be back again next year"

"We had a great time again this year.  You all did a GREAT job with the fields during the rain.  Thanks again."

"They had a blast and again, very well run tournament.  Your tournament will definitely be on our radar for next year."

"First of all I want to thank you for hosting a very positive event.  The girls always have fun at this tournament. I also want to thank all the volunteers that worked on the fields between games to do what they could to keep the fields as playable given the amount of rain that we got in addition to the saturation that fields got earlier in the week.  Great job by all!!!"
